I ordered this guide as a last resort. I searched for practice tests and guides to help pass the CTEL but since the test is pretty new there were none around besides this guide. Obviously someone got smart and created an advertisement for guaranteed passing results on the CTEL using basic test prep information under the guise of actual content area information. The guides I downloaded had so many grammatical errors I couldn't read through a good portion of it. I found a very small section on actual content but it read more like a test possible stolen from a CLAD course than a guide of any sort. No reference to the CTEL was made even though the advertisement said it would show actual test questions. The information was just a guide for taking tests in general. The "coach" was 40 consecutive emails giving helpful suggestions I had never thought of before like "stop procrastinating," "form a study group," "change your answers," etc. I am embarrassed that I spent money on this, furious that a "company" would take advantage of teachers and their money since we make very little to begin with. I have sent an email to request a refund simply because I am dissatisfied and felt no more prepared for the test than I did before I shelled out 57 bucks! Please don't by this information. It's ridiculous and emabarrassing. It was no help at all!
