America's Shopping Network - Lisa Lucatorto ripoff attempt, $17,900 to film 3 1/2 min. commercial spot, saw us at trade show Deerfield Beach Florida

Thank God for Rip-Off Report! We are a fledgling business making candle wax & simmer pots. We did our 1st trade show in Las Vegas the beginning of June. I got a phone call from Lise Lucatorto of America's Shopping Network yesterday.

She said her rep had seen us at the show & for %17,900 (yes, it's gone up again) they could run a spot on their network. If we sold over $80,000 in 90 days it would roll over to a national spot.

She faxed me papers to fill out & fax back & said she would send me a media kit & probably want me to send samples for her focus group. This is a dream come true for our little company.

I called my family & friends last night, all excited. I even woke my husband, who was asleep before his graveyard shift job. Fortunately, I also did a web search on ASN. I emailed the law firm that handled the problem in 2002. This morning I found Rip-Off in another search.

I didn't get ripped off, but I was prepared to go looking for loans to do this. I am filing this to let people know they are still out there & still trying to Rip You Off!!!!
