The Rip-Off Report Investigation revealed a demonstrated commitment by DirectBuy to providing excellent customer service and resolving customer issues. DIRECT BUY OF FT. MYERS IS A SCAM AND I WILL TELL YOU WHY. FIRST OFF, THEY LIE AND SAY THEY DONT MAKE MONEY OFF THE PURCHASES - LIE !!! THEN THEY CHARGE 15% HANDLING FEE ON ALL ORDERS. THEN THEY GIVE YOU 5 SECONDS TO DECIDE IF YOU WANT TO JOIN! WHICH I FELL FOR THEIR SCAM. I BEEN A MEMBER FOR A LONG TIME NOW, AND I HAVE WRITTEN IT AS A LOST. THEY CLAIM YOU CAN SAVE 50% AND MORE ON PURCHASES, BUT WITH HANDLING FEES AND OTHER CHARGES, YOU SPEND $5000 MEMBERSHIP TO SAVE 2%. PLUS YOU HAVE TO WAIT 8 WEEKS OR MNORE TO GET YOUR ITEM. JUST GO TO WALMART AND SHOP. IT WOULD BE CHEAPER.

DIRECT BUY IS A SCAM AND THEY KNOW IT! THEY CHARGE $5000 FOR MEMBERSHIP AND HOPE YOU FALL FOR THEIR SALES PITCH.

AND THEY CALL YOU 50 TIMES BEGGING YOU TO COME IN. DONT FALL FOR IT. GO TO WALMART AND GET YOUR ITEM NOW AND SAVE MORE MONEY

THE OWNERS ARE A SCAM AS WELL. THEY TREAT YOU WITH A RUDE ATTITUDE AND THEY THINK WORD WILL NOT GET AROUND ABOUT THEIR SCAN OPERATION

BUT I WILL MAKE IT MY GOAL TO PUT THIS COMPANY OUT OF BUSINESS! EVERYONE IN LEE COUNTY WILL KNOW WHAT THEY REALLY DO

Yes you are very right. They are a Ripoff. The owners Marge and Paul will Lie at every turn withou blinking a eye.

Try standing outside with a sign a few hours. New membership time is 1:30 and 7:00pm let those that they are trying to lure in know what is going on.

They are a major scam in my opinion and as far as savings there are very little savings at best. Definatly not $5,000.00 worth unless you spend over $50,000.00 in merchandise there and even then you are better off keeping the 5k in the bank.

Their latest ripoff is their payment plan where they charge unsuspecting people 39% interest to join in which case you would have to spend $150,000.00 to break even from their scam.

Everyone is allowed a opinion, this is a great country.

Yes, This Is A Scam

Last night my wife and I went to a seminar. The price of their membership is outrageous. The manager gives this presentation of how much money people save. Just the price of the membership alone is ridiculous. It's amazing that they give you one chance to become a member and if you don't do it this time, you don't get another chance. That right there should alarm people. What company would ever decline you membership because you refused once before? If they are looking for business, they would always allow people to come in and join.

Obviously, the more you spend, the greater the overall savings - I dont really see what the problem is
