Readers Choice San Luis Obispo Continuous unauthorized charges after canceling membership and blocking account San Luis Obispo California

Readers choice told me in June of 2008 that as long as I cancel my membership before July 12th 2008 they will not charge me the $88.00 I cancelled my membership on the 10th of July 2008. On July 12th they not only charged my account $88.00 but $89.95 as well. I called them the following week to find out why. They said your membership was cancelled and we already sent you a refund. I asked for a confirmation of the refund and they said they do not give out confirmation numbers for refunds and rudely hung up. I called my credit card and asked to be blocked from them and I also filed a billing dispute then cancelled and block my credit card.

Readers Choice credited me $88 on Aug. 22nd 2008 but then charged me again $88 on Sept. 10th 2008. I called my bank again and they put me on hold to look into it. They said the claim for July 12th has already been resolved through the billing disputes department (I still haven't recieved a credit for the $89.95)and the merchant told them the charge was authorized on Sept. 10th. This it WAS NOT authorized and I don't know how they got my credit card again when it should have been blocked. I think they are a fraud and should be investigated. If anyone out there can help me figure this out it would be greatly appreciated.
