I recently became a victim of Unified Services. My story was very similar to the other complaints listed on (((Redacted))). I was harrassed by Unified Services for over a week. Each time I was called by Unified Services I asked to be taken off of their calling list. Finally the last lady who called spoken "english" if you could even call it that. Her spoken english was so broken it was hard to understand at times. She informed me that I had won a shopping spree on target.com & amazon.com in addition to winning a vacation. Sounded great, but my daughter started to get upset so I informed the caller that I didn't have time for our conversation & hung up. She immediately called me back & asked why I had hung up, afterall "I'm just trying to get you a free vacation & shopping spree", she said. My mother-in-law took the baby upstairs & I continued our conversation.
She indicated that my checking accont info was needed to pay for the $1.99 shipping & handling. I began the process, then she started to ask me for authorization to receive trial products (at the end of the 10 day trial I would be charged). I indicated I wanted no part in the trial. She said that the trials were just a formality, & before we got off the phone she would cancel the trials & I would only be charged the $1.99 for shipping. I indicated to her that I would sue her company if I was charged anything other than the $1.99. So that was that.
I received my "vacation" & "shopping spree" in the mail along with the, of course, trial offers ( which I specifically stated I didn't want part of). The free stuff that was sent, was crap. I didn't think I had to cancel anything because I supposodly cancelled them on the phone. Apparently these products are so substandard that this company has to be evasive & deceitful to profit from them?
So 3 weeks after this all had begun I was charged $149.80 to my checking account. I called the main "customer service" line & only got a commercial of sorts about each of the products I didn't want. So I started to call each company individually to see where I would get. I started with the Online Advantage Internet, Inc. I cancelled my account & asked to speak to a manager about the unauthorized charges. Robert, with who I spoke to, informed me that he was the senior rep on the floor (of course he is!), & that someone at my phone number authorized the charges & that there was nothing to be done but cancel the remaining services. Wow! What great customer service, nT! I've learned my lesson on this regard. But now I'm taking steps to get my money back. I've talked to my bank & filed a complaint & have begun a quest to let everyone in the world know about your deception & thievery. Hopefully my bank will help me out with this. Don't fall prey to these people. Don't believe a single thing that comes out of their mouths. These people are lying, thieving cheats!!!
