Valid Research Inc. sent me a letter asking me to be a mystery shopper and a check for $4160.00. I almost did deposit it as I need the money but I thought I had better check it out first.

The money was for

$300 -- probationary pay

$3540.00 -- funds required for Money gram or Western Union
$180 -- Service charge by Money Gram or Western Union
$100 -- Funds for your shopping costs.

I called the number and this guy seemed like he really could care less and I was bothering him. I had question and he just kept on say, "didn't you read the letter"?
I decided I had better check it out before I did something really stupid.
