I've seen a lot of bad items posted here about this company I'm currently employed with. YES, we're telemarketers. But some of us, through this corporation, are able to make good money doing it. Why? Because this sort of marketing is legal, licensed, and most obviously: IT WORKS. Our campaign, THAT AN AMERICAN MARKETING FIRM HAS **HIRED** US TO ENGAGE, is to simply qualify US credit card owners to be entered in the annual "Dream Come True" Sweepstakes. Everyone that confirms their possession of a major credit card product becomes eligible.

We ask a few simple, relatively non-personal survey questions. Then we move on to our promotion, and offer them a diamond watch - IF they choose to participate in this promotion. We then offer 3 free monthly magazines (a wide variety in a mailed catalog), and then ask for their support in only 1 weekly publication. Our script has us CLEARLY explaining the service, and the benefits therein. There is NO gimmick or scam involved in our offer, as our client's license with the FCC demonstrates! When we get people on the phone that snap back at us "Do not call me anymore.. take me off your list..." we disposition the call as such. (At least I do) :)

I've been a return employee now for just over a week. Telesolutions now has a nice new office we work out of on Main St, in Winnipeg. We have support staff. We have a friendly atmosphere. We have managers and admin staff that SMILE at you when they walk by, and they are more than happy to answer any questions I've had so far. They know the system, what works, and they make sure we are educated on proper tried-and-true selling techniques.

This is what I have seen. But as for myself, I believe I'm doing well, averaging 2-3 sales a day in my first week. Today I had zero. But nobody treated me like a zero. There are good people there, some experienced, extremely strong salesmen and women. All I want out of this company is the chance to be like them, and I'll close here by saying that I believe a lot of the negative comments on this page are from people that have told themselves that they can't be like them.
