Pioneer Telephone Of Portland Maine Empty Promises; After Cancellation Confirmed By Them ; Slamming Telephone Portland Maine Maine

This started on October 19, 2007 when I saw that this was a supposedly good long distance alternative given their superior pricing. What started as a beginning of what I felt would be a good relationship quickly soured when the carriers they actually utilized of one which fouled up my phone line and left it dead.

The companies they piggybacked on which for intrastate toll call was one which is Sprint and the other which was interstate long distance was Global Crossing.

Now when the Global Crossing was put on the line they caused our telephone to go totally dead and we lost our phone service because of this company.

On top of that they took money out of my credit card for their so called one year commitment that was non refundable but with no service they had another thing coming by causing my phone line to disintegrate.

I switched back to my old service and I had a verifier on the line but they said it would be a good idea to talk to Pioneer and cancel.

Before cancellation there was red flags like they said they would send a confirmation e-mail and confirmation phone call. They reneged on those promises also so we sat for half the weekend without phone service and then I had to use a store phone to institute my regular service long distance and toll in state long distance.

Pioneer said as of 1:30 PM yesterday afternoon cancellation was effective immediately. I spoke to a Nell Gonzalez and she said this would be the case.

When I went into my phone account and logged in I find that they are slamming my line because we have no phone service and their name is still on the list as our carriers [Sprint and Global Crossing] Don't forget the horrible bankruptcy and crookedness of Global Crossing. Also Sprint by the ripoff report for cellphone service shows blatant complaints against them.

I would urge anyone if it is too good to be true the discount then steer clear.

Next step for me in two days if they don't surrender the phone line is the FCC.

What bothers me the most about this company is their bold face lies.
