Transaction Clearing billed on behaf of IVA, Inc Transaction Clearing ,TRSCN CLRNG Bogus Collect Charges - Cramming Charge San Antonio, Texas

Just got January 2010's AT&T phone bill & noticed on the last page of the bill a bogus <fradulent> charge from Transaction Clearing on behalf of IVA, INC. (TRSCN CLRNG) The statement says the charge is for "COLLECT FROM ANAHEIM, CA 714-999-9133" on 12/28/2009  @  8:089p. 

There are two things wrong w/ this picture. One, the family was never home the last week of Dec and two, our cell phone's are our primary lines. The land line they charged is NEVER used & is only there for an emergency back up phone. If anyone were to EVER call it they'd only get 2 rings and the message machine picks up. So how in the hell does a company bill from getting an answering machine, provided they tried to call the landline? 

I called AT&T to dispute & was told they'll send the charges back to Transaction Clearing, however, I need to call them to dispute the bill becuase Transaction will send a private bill to me if they don't get paid by AT&T. I called the # provided, 877-257-2455 and after entering my ph# I was left on hold for 30+ min w/o anyone to answer. I hung up and called back but was left on hold for an add'l 45min - again, no one picked up the phone.

Thanks for reading other consumer complaints concerning this cramming charge & fraudulent company I just filed a FTC complaint.
