I thought I would try Straight Talk a phone service from Walmart. I bought a phone and a $30.00 dollar card to activate it. After following the online prompts I scratched the card for my pin number, there was not a pin # on the card so then they ask for a credit card. I think they were from Pakistan because they were rude and could not speak english well. I lost the 30 bucks so sorry but if I only gave them my credit card things would be fine, yea right!! Walmart has really gone down hill, full of scams and retarded employes. They are supporting Communist China and probably terrorists in Pakistan. Try Target instead a much better shopping experience.

Or since it's tracfone.

AUTHOR: Ceadda - PrivateTown (U.S.A.)

Or maybe its a 10 day old company that's powered by tracfone which has long had problems with invalid pins. The usual result to this is to simply ask for a fax number and send your reciept and a full scan of the card in question to the phone company and they add it to your account.

Your not out anything unless your one of those idiots that throws receipts away.

I had no problem with Walmart

AUTHOR: Fossilized_trust - Saint Petersburg (United States of America)

I had no problem with Walmart the same thing happened to me but I took my reciept and card back to Walmart and they just gave me a new one which I was real careful scratching off. I made the mistake of calling tech support first and they were no help and got me mad telling me I had  to fax the card to them which I don't have a fax machine. I was taking everything back to Walmart and would have filed a complaint with my credit card company but there was no problem at Walmart I got a new card scratched it of a lot lighter this time and will now see how the service works because you can't beat that price of 45 dollars unlimited for a month.

The same thing happened to me

AUTHOR: Fossilized_trust - Saint Petersburg (United States of America)

The same thing happened to me I bought a 45 dollar unlimited card but the numbers scratched off when I scratched it. I called the tech support but all they did was got me mad telling me I had to fax the card to corporate, I asked if I could mail it but they said no and told me Walmart wouldn't take it back because it had been scratched. Since I didn't have a fax machine I took the card and the phone back to Walmart and was going to ask for a refund or I was going to file on my credit card. But Walmart replaced the card no problem and I am now trying the service because 45 dollars for unlimited calling texting and internet is a deal for a month. I will now have to see how well the service works.I was also very careful in scratching off the second card, you have to be real gentle cause it is a tape that will easily scratch off.

Straight Talk ( Run away fast )

AUTHOR: MadConsumer - Torrance (USA)

It figures that the employee of this company has a bad attitude.  He knows his product sucks and yet he will continue to praise it. Start looking for another job, your company and there phone service sucks.  There are so many other consumer sites that have nothing but bad reviews on this company.
