AT&T for months would "magically" not receive our payments. I tried every method available to me, save going down to an AT&T store. When I sent a check, it would "be lost." When I tried to pay online, the servers were "down." When I tried paying by phone on the automatic system, it either would not work, or tell me the wrong amount.
This resulted in many late fees and my credit score going down. AT&T customer service was unwilling to help and sent me on a wild goose chase through their company to get my credit scores fixed.
I finally canceled their service and was told that all bills were up to date. Never received a final statement, and when checked online a few days after canceling, all bills were up to date. No due amount was listed.
Now I have a debt collector after me and my credit score has gone down tremendously because I have this report on my credit rating.
Beware of AT&T's customer service, or should I say lack of customer service!
