Magic Jack is a ripoff. I tried to renew the contract on my old unit that I rarely used and guess what, they want you to buy a new one. They won't renew. I wasted many hours in chat room with some clerks from who-knows-where. I asked to be billed manually since the billing does not allow for renewal, they refused. When I said I am fed up and want a refund they responded that I can't get a refund. I had no choice but tell them that I need to report this to a ripoff--I was told to GO AHEAD! I can't believe this. DOn't get magic jack if you don't want to have hours wasted on the computer trying to get anything done. I am really disappointed, I tried so many times and tried 2 diffrent credit cards and nothing worked.
