I purchased a 65" projection tv from Best Buy. Model No.WD65731. I had it a litle over a year and the lamp burned out. I was not told of this problem at
the point of sell (Best Buy). It costs approximately $250 for a replacement part. The company admitted it was their fault by sending me one free. It has been 14 months since that time and it has burned out again. The company will not send me another one unless I pay for it.

Since my first lamp was replaced, I discovered that there is an Appendix C to the original manual on Lamp Cartridge Replacement. So the Company had to know that there was a problem with the lamp.

I would not have purchased the TV if I had known about this problem. I can't afford to pay them a $250 per annum in perpetuity. I am now retired and on a fixed income.
