Purchase Steely Dan tickets using AMEX Gold Card -- the come on was "preferred seating", "buy tickets" before the general public.

So, I purchased (on 31 May 09) 2 tickets for the 29 July 09 show at the Beacon Theatre in NYC. I got Orchestra Row N off to the side. Not so bad, but off to the side.

I just checked, before writing this report, and found Orch seats row K more center oriented. Also listed was a group of four seats in Row M ,more centrally located.

Perhaps not a rip-off -- but certainly mis-leading, injurious marketing.
