TTicketmaster and American Express, Internet

I was concerned even before tickets went on sale for Van Halen at Verizon Centre in DC because I saw that American Express had tickets for sale already but you had to be a cardholder to purchase them.  So I contacted Ticketmaster and asked if there will be any good seats left since American Express already has tickets for sale.  I was told that American Express purchased a large bundle of tickets in advance and that there would still be tickets in all sections available.  My brother-in-law recently got an American Express card just to purchase Coldplay tickets for the same reason because he didn't want to wait and not get tickets. 

So today tickets went on sale at 10 a.m.  The second it turned 10 a.m. I went on Ticketmaster.com.  The only seats they had left was the 400 section which are the worse seats.  If I had applied for an AX card then I would have tickets now.  This is holding customers hostage to making them apply for a card in order to get good seats for a concert.  Every ticket scalping place out there has tickets to this concert already and its because they purchased them through American Express on Ticketmaster.com.  It's beyond advertisement.  It's beyond scalping tickets because the tickets on these other sites are now triple the face value of the ticket now.
