They misrepresent the timeshare as a financial investment, misquoting value and the amount you can rent your weeks for. They guarantee you will make money and your property will increase in value when in fact it decreases.

Even members cannot obtain weeks for themselves, much less the ones they can rent.

I followed up with the Mexican consumer protection group, Profeco. Profeco notified me that they cancelled the agreement and money was refunded immediately. However, Sunset Groups is still trying to collect through Resorts Management intl, #293490, 1110 Montlimar Dr., Suite 310, Mobile, AL 35509-1723, telephone 251-460-4340. This is on my credit report with TransUnion, amount $9,894
