We hired Custom Title & Escrow Inc. to do our closing. Everything was great for about 6 months or so. We kept receiving mail related to the house in the previous owners name. After some research, we found out that the title to our house was never transferred. These crooks just took off with all of our money without doing anything. We even paid for title insurance which we don't have because they never paid the insurance company.

Because of this crooked company, we are sitting in a house that technically belongs to another person. Since there is no title insurance, they can't help. We got a quote for $7000 from another title company to fix this mess.

The owner of this company did the closing for us himself and has since disappeared. He can not be reached by any means.
