Dear Ex-Student,
So sorry to hear you were mistreated, misguided and wrongfully terminated. You must first know that when Empire took over Artistic, they were in way over their heads. The whole conversion has been a complete failure and fiasco. While Empire was claiming that they didnt want to shake the waters too quickly by changing our culture, they so should have done exactly that.First with the termination of Regional Party-Girl :Mechelle Capra. Secondly by immediately certifying each an every instructor with CLIC curriculum, and third by providing all active students with CLIC curriculum for the transition. All of this followed up with properly training the directors with correct operational methods and support.
The entire purchase of Artistic from Regis was a complete failure in both states Colorado and ARizona. Arizona had its share with abusive directors who are still employed along with shady financial aid practices. The directors will do whatever it takes to sabotage your efforts and fullfilling your careers. They first begin with the losing of important documents, followed by "its all your fault approach", then to only gossip about you to other staff and students, to finally, completely shutting you out and not including you in important decisions which involve your life. I have even witnessed enrollment coordnators assist students with the financial aid application forms and FAFSA on line which is highly illegal.
I recommend a full organization of individuals who were and continue to be mistreated by this awful company. CNN.COM has been contacted and hopefully Empire's shananagans will come to an end someday soon.
If anything hang in there and know that the beauty industry, while it may not be perfect is totally different from your experience with Empire. I hope you get your education and license someday so you can move forward with your dreams. GOOD LUCK !!!!!
