Forest River Rvforest River Inc not backing warrenty, ingnoring calls for two months Elkhart Indiana

I purchased a 2008 forest river 33 ft trailer from beaudry rv in az. beaudry rv claimed chapter 11. but my problem is with the manufacturer forest river.

I have a water leak in a interior wall. I asked a repair person to fix, he tried for 6 weeks to get a call back for authorization to repair. no call back. My wife called for two weeks and finaly got a reply from them. they messed around for several weeks saying the trailer was not registered by beaudry rv.

after sending the nessary papers 6 times and also overnighting the papers to them they said it was now registered. I have had 5 repair persons look a the unit. 4 said it was too large of a job. I took the unit where forest river said I could get it fixed, they also declined the job and sent me on to another repair shop. that person declined the job, saying he had been not paid or slow payment (8 months) by all manufactures on warrenty work.

I then called forest river for their comment,they said they might (repeat might) be willing to haul the unil to Indiana for factory repairs 'if' his supervisor oked it. but of course I would have to get a place to stay 'at my expense' since the trailer is my home. I would be out the money for whatever time it takes them to repair. forest river said two to three weeks for repairs. anyone believe that ?

The trailer has got mold and wet floors and is a health hazard especialy for my wife who has lung problems (copd). . forest river also said these trailers are not for full timers odd that is not in their sales promotions I feel that they sold me a lemon. and are failing to stand behind their product. I want a replacement. Bought a top of the line trailer and ended up with a junker.

This is my second and last forest river product. I would not recomend this brand to anyone and I'm glad to tell all and anyone the way I have been treated by forest river inc
