Whatever you do, stay away from China Spree, www.chinaspree.com.  They will lie to you about everything from the quality of the hotels to the restaurants they will take you to.  they will send you doctored photos that purport to show where you will be going or staying and then when you get there you somewhere else.  Sometimes they will blame it on the hotel overbooking and the need to switch hotels but other times they just tell you that the picutres you got and the hotel you are at are one in the same!  Sorry, but I know the difference between a Motel 6 and a Four seasons!

The owner, Wilson Wu, is a complete liar and rude as all heck once you call him out on his deception.  Our trip was for our 25th anniversary and we were so excited.  it turned out to be a complete disaster and nightmare and it was all due to China Spree.  Stay away from them.  They will bait you in by telling you one thing but then not delivering.  China Spree, www.chinaspree.com, is the worst travel agency I have ever used.  Please avoid them and don't believe anything they tell you

Only good things to say about China Spree

I see the complaint was made two years ago. My family and i just returned from The Beijing/Shanghai tour and were completely impressed. Nothing but good things to say about China Spree. It was much better than expected and everyone on our 44 person tour were impressed. An outstanding value. Our tour guide Ronald seemed to work around the clock. He was very knowledgeable and kept us interested as well as entertained. He would even assist the waiters at our restaurants to insure that our food was served as quickly as possible. Our hotels were good, especially in Shanghai. While it wasn't the Four Seasons, it clearly wasn't a Motel 6. I would give the Beijing hotel 3 1/2 stars and the Shanghai hotel 4 stars. If you are expecting Four Seasons at this price, you will never be satisfied with any tour company. It was by far the "best" family trip my family has ever taken. I am most grateful to China Spree for the experience.
