Special T Travel Rip off and still waiting for refund Casselberry Florida

Earlier this year I made the mistake of signing up to win a Orlando vacation and a local sportsman/vacation trade show. I thought nothing of it since I figured that I didn't have a change in hell of winning. However, a month or so later I received a call informing me that I had won the trip.

The person on the phone was very cheery. I was shocked and honestly not paying as good of attention as I should have. At not time did she mention anything about time shares. I unfortunately fell for her pitch and agreed to pay $398.

Shortly after hanging up I got a very nervous feeling in my gut. At first I thought that I may have fallen for a much worse scam that would have ended with them stealing all my money (thankfully that isn't the case in this instance, but they still miss lead you and rip you off). So, I did what I should have done before agreeing, I did a look up for them and basically only found complaints about tons of hidden costs and this was the first time I heard of the time share program.

I decided to save myself a lot of problems and just cancel my package. I waited until I got the information in the mail and I followed their return process exactly. About a week later I got a call asking why and I basically told them that I didn't like the idea of going to time share presentations and that I just was no longer interested in going.

They told me I was getting a refund. It's been over a month and still no refund. I called them today and the guy said I should have already got it, but that they were behind due to so many cancellations, gee I wonder why? I was told that I should get it by next week, I'll believe it when I see it.
