I was unfortunate enough to pick up an unsolicited fax to my company designed to look like a Memo sent internally by our HR department. I should have known it was a deal too good to be true, but I thought it was a special deal negotiated through my company.

I purchased an all inclusive 6/5 Cancun and 5/4 Costa Rica trip on December 22, 2008 for $499 total, and when I finally got around to trying to make reservations all of the numbers I had for Cancun Reservation's "Customer Service" and "Reservations" had been disconnected, as well as the original number I received on the fax. The web page I was told to look at was www.valuecancun.com, and that no longer exists either. I only know who they're calling themselves now by looking up Cancun scams on RipoffReport.com and seeing their many aliases.

The only thing I ever got in writing from the company was what I was told to print and fax back (and that fax number seems to be the only number that never changes), which is my agreement that the vacation is nonrefundable.

When I called the current number to try and get my money back, they kept playing the taped agreement when I had waived any right I had to a refund. I kept saying they broke our agreement by not providing me with the service I had paid for, to which they said they could book me right now. I told them dates I wanted to go and they said an additional $400 would apply since it was peak season.

When I asked them when I could go that wasn't peak season, she told me Sept and November. That's it. Two months of the whole year, hurricane season??

These guys are obviously good at what they do; look how long they've been scamming people. But irks me the most is that they're getting away with it. Why don't we all band together and hire an attorney to file a class action law suit against them? None of us are willing to spend a few thousand to maybe get back a few hundred, but if we all pitched in, we can see justice done! http://classactioncmbtt.webs.com/
