I used to do business with Alamo,but they have changed.I tried to pick up my car at the Ilikai hotel in Honolulu,and it was NOT there,and they was no cars left.I spoke to the manager at the counter,and she said ever since Alamo outsourced its reservation center to India they have had many problems.She said"you do not know the half of it"."The people in India book wrong dates,wrong cars,names,cancel reservations that were made on the internet."No more Alamo for me and National Rent A Car has the same problems because they are the same company.So if you want to actually have a car waiting for you --STAY AWAY from Alamo/National.Aloha.

I must agree.

As a small business owner we used to have a corporate account with Alamo and National Rent a Car.They were good until about 5 years ago.If you rent a car from them there is a 50% chance it will not be there for you.Probably some of it has to do with their outsourcing of reservation agents who 'seem to make many mistakes.Also within the last few years that company uses a very toxic chemical to clean the air conditioning vents in their vehicles.I've had a few employees get very ill from it.We no longer use Alamo and National.
