On Saturday 11/18/06 my wife and I wnet to a presentation put on bt Beachcomber representing Castaways Vacation Club. We were promised two free boarding passes for a 4 day cruise and 5 dinners for 2 at 5 local nice restaurants.

The five free dinners were coupons for $20 off total meals and the free cruise for 4 days for two will cost us $556 in fees and taxes. We called the cruise line direct and recived the same cruise all fees and taxes for $406.

I asked my manager about the incosistencies and she said that the marketing company made the error not her. She did offer other "free" packages that of course were not.

Based off other peoples experience if I cancel I will lose nearly $350 0f the $478 I paid.

I know I have been lied to but I also do not need to be screwed to.

Our trip went off without a hitch. I was worried that we would have a hassle with the car rental, etc., but everything was arranged perfectly. They were responsive and promptly returned calls to answer questions I had. I would highly recommend the club to friends. We are now trying to figure out where we want to go on our next trip; you will definitely hear from us soon!
