Global Explorers Took my money and ran - nothing given in return Bradenton Florida

On 7/28/07, I executed a contract with Global Explores for a travel club membership with World Adventurers. The Global sales representative characterized the product as a travel package under which I would receive a variety of vacation services, including travel, hotel and other amenities at substantial discounts - some as great as 50% of published brochure rates. My membership in the program was categorized as a V.I.P. membership with World Adventurers; however, payment was made to Global Explorers.

During the ensuing months, I periodically checked market conditions to ascertain what degree of savings I could achieve by comparing World Adventures' rates with those I found from other sources. Much to my dismay, I found no discernible cost advantages vis a vis my World Adventurer's Travel membership. Although my contract documents reflect a promise of discounts for all air travel, World Adventurers advised on 7/17/08 that there are no discounts for domestic air travel.

On 4/28/08, I attempted to contact Global Explorers to address my concerns. I then discovered they were no longer in business.

In spite of my having paid $5,544 in expectation of being able to enjoy the benefit of a cost effective World Adventures travel club membership, my cost comparing experience over the past several months has confirmed that the promises which persuaded me to purchase the membership have not materialized.

I know there were multiple people in the room that signed up and know that there are plenty more throughout the U.S. that have been scammed and I'm hoping there's a lawyer out there that will take this case and help all of us that have been scammed.
