Freightliner Trucks ripoff lemon worst truck ever owned Portland Oregon

This is the worst truck we have ever owned. We bought it brand new, thinking we wouldn't have any out of pocket repairs, wrong answer. We spent $13,800.00 in 2005 alone. That is just the repairs not covered under warranty. The truck rides bad, and it's taking a toll on our bodies just riding in it. It just seems like we got a lemon. Even the repair facilities can't believe the long list of repairs this truck has when they pull it up on their computer.
It makes me sick that I paid $115,000.00 for this big lemon. I don't think I will ever buy another Freightliner as long as I live.

I have had the same experience with Freightliner Corporation / Daimler Chrysler. I feel your pain. I bought a brand new truck in 2004. The warranty just expired, and I have spent tens of thousands during the warranty period. It is easier to think of what has not been repaired or replaced, than to list what has. I will be filing my own report shortly, detailing every repair, cost, downtime, etc. I am glad to find this forum for filing a report, and will keep checking for others in the same position I am in. Hopefully someday, they will be held accountable for their actions. I just want to see justice!
