18 WHLR WAS TOWED FROM FLYING J IN DALLAS. SAID TRUCK WAS PARKED IN A TOW ZONE. IN LOOKING THIS TRUCK WAS PARKED BETWEEN 2 TRUCKS WHICH WAS ALSO TOWED AND IF IT WAS A RED ZONE YOU COULD NOT SEE IT. THAT DAY THERE WERE SEVERAl TRUCKS THAT WERE TOWED FROM THE FLYING J. THIS COMPANY MADE A KILLING.
IN DOING SOME CHECKING WE HAVE FOUND OUT THAT THEIR V.S.F LICENSE IS NOT VALID. IT SHOWS TO BE EXPIRED. THIS COMPANY AND THE FLYING J ARE RIPPING THE TRUCKERS OFF. THEY SAID THEY HAD TO TOW ARE TRUCK IN 2 TRIPS AND CHARGED US $1253.16 FOR GOING 14 MILES! JUST THINK OF THE MONEY THEY MADE THAT DAY! I WISH SOMEONE COULD DO SOME CHECKING INTO THIS. I AM FILING A COMPLAINT WITH THE STATE IN REGARD TO THIS INCIDENT.

Lone Star Automotive Services had their license yanked in Dallas in early November 2008, but they can file an appeal and stretch this process out 60 days. Currently, the Attorney General of Texas is investigating to see if the company should have its license yanked statewide. This info was in the Dallas Morning News on November 5, "Firm that towed Texas-OU fans' cars loses Dallas license."
If you have information--even old information you've submitted to other places, or stuff that's online--it's important to contact the Texas State Attorney General and make sure they have that info as part of their current investigation before that investigation wraps up.
I've been following this situation on my blog closely and gathering links to articles about Lone Star Automotive Services. For further info, go to www.towingutopia.com.

Question: is are we talking about a semi truck or a pickup truck?
Question: how hard is it to park in a normal legal parking spot?
Question: isnt plain where you can legally park and where not to? and if in doubt either ask inside or park in a different location?
(Slaps forehead and says I should have had a V8)
