Nothern Haulers - Northside Rebuilders - John Schintgen failed to ship our boat, kept our deposit, won't answer phone calls or emails ripoff Lake Bluff Illinois

uShip contacted me on August 3 2007 that a match had been found to haul our boat from Appling, Ga to Brunswick, GA on August 15, 2007. I received an email from Northern Haulers that they required a $500.00 deposit before scheduling the pickup and that the remainder of the fee would be required upon delivery in Brunswick, GA.

Per instructions from Northern Haulers, I wire transferred the deposit to John Schingtin's bank at Northside Community Bank 205 W Wacker Dr. Chicago, IL.
I spoke with John on several occasions over the next few days to insure that he had received the deposit and to deliver exact directions to the Marina.

As August 15 came closer, it became more difficult to contact John. The day before the pickup date of August 15, 2007, after numerous unanswered calls, John finally answered his phone and promised to meet me at the intersection leading down to the Marina the next day.
On August 15, 2007, I waited for 9 hours at the load out point/boat ramp. Northern Haulers (John) never answered another phone call.

All phone calls and emails have failed to be returned. I have formally requested the return of the $500.00 wire transfer through my bank and via an email to Northern Haulers.
