Bendaroos RIP OFF!!! Internet

My Boyfreind's daughter has been begging for months for Bendaroos, so he ordered some for her for Christmas. Unfortunately we didn't do our homework on the company that he would be dealing with.

When he called the number given in the comercial, he could not get a HUMAN on the phone. After being on the phone for several minutes he gleefully reported to me that he had ordered "evrything" for our little girl.

We hoped that everything went through OK, because he was never offered the opportunity to review the order, that included two magazines which have yet to arrive.

Days later he checked his bank account and saw that he had been charged over $80. We were OK with the cost - until this afternoon when they arrived.

These are the cheapest, crappiest "toys" we have ever seen. I would expect to find these things at the dollar store! They are less than half the size that is shown on TV, they crack and fall apart when moved even slightly from the straight position they are shipped in, they can not returned to their original straight position like advertised, we did not receive all of the colors that we should have and to our little girl's heartbreak - they don't stick to anything, not even themselves, (as shown in the commercial).

All in all, if your child wants Bendaroos you'd be better off going to your local craft (or even hardware store) getting a spool of twine and dipping it in some melted candle wax. It'll cost a lot less and might be a better "toy" for your child.

I will be contacting the company directly to see if/how they plan to resolve the issue (their obvious fraud). I will also be contacting the BBB and the children's networks that these are advertised on. I am so discusted that these networks allow this discusting display of false advertising. What are they teaching our children??????
