Everything in Kevin Trudeau's infomercial was a lie. I recieved the book & it had outragous suggestions about losing weight. Your suppose to stop all medications eat only expensive food that I can't buy raising to children & then your suppose to go to a Dr. to recieve shots that you give yourself every other day. I returned the book & The Stop Smoking CD 6 weeks ago & the company claims they haven't recieved the returned package. I simply want my $45 back.

#1 Consumer Suggestion

More Information on Kevin Trudeau's Suggestions

AUTHOR: Thomas - Charlotte (U.S.A.)

You're absolutely right about the weight-loss methods he suggested being ineffective or even harmful.

Here is the Prescribing Information for the injection he recommends:
http://www.ferringusa.com/fertility_products/insert_novarel.htm

Notice what the manufacturer of those injections writes on their product label:
"INDICATIONS AND USAGE:
HCG HAS NOT BEEN DEMONSTRATED TO BE EFFECTIVE ADJUNCTIVE THERAPY IN THE TREATMENT OF OBESITY. THERE IS NO SUBSTANTIAL EVIDENCE THAT IT INCREASES WEIGHT LOSS BEYOND THAT RESULTING FROM CALORIC RESTRICTION, THAT IT CAUSES A MORE ATTRACTIVE OR "NORMAL" DISTRIBUTION OF FAT, OR THAT IT DECREASES THE HUNGER AND DISCOMFORT ASSOCIATED WITH CALORIE-RESTRICTED DIETS."

I didn't capitalize this -- the manufacturer actually put this in CAPITAL letters on the label, like they want to shout it to you, in case you didn't hear.

If you're looking for a good weight-loss method, be sure you include all four steps ... removing obstacles like underlying conditions or medications which make you overweight, exercising regularly, eating with lifelong healthy nutrition, and taking well-proven weight-loss medicines.

If you need well-trained help, find a physician who is listed with the

#2 Consumer Comment

Response to Kevin Tredeau slam

AUTHOR: Lisa - Chicago (U.S.A.)

To Michelle or anyone slamming the Weight Loss cure WITHOUT trying it --

Weight loss is hard, and here you have someone showing you a way used for 50+ years all over the world, that you have not been told about because so many companies DO have a vested interest in keeping America as fat as possible. Yet you simply don't like what you read so decide it's a scam, it's too expensive, whatever.

Well I bought the book, I had a full physical and blood work before getting the medication and administering it myself (no I have never done that before but it was incredibly easy.) Start to finish it cost me $400, for medicine/physical/bloodwork, everything. The very low calorie diet is 10 times cheaper than visiting McDonald's every day. And I lost 15 pounds in 9 days.

I had tried EVERYTHING before to lose that weight. I was not overweight, I worked out religiously for years but that last bit of weight would not budge until I used this plan. No, I did NOT eat 100% organic, I hardly drank any teas because I don't like them, but I used some common sense and realized that eating crappy foods and complaining about it wasn't going to help.

It just seems to me that people want to whine and complain about things being a scam if it involves any type of brain power or even a few dollars out of pocket. And since I have been on the other side of this fence, I can guarantee you that the $400 I spent to get the results I have tried years to get is SO much less than the complainers will spend on cheap diet pills/fad diet programs or whatever other product the FDA will throw on the market promising 'weight loss.'

So either try the protocol and give an educated, informed reply about it, or just be a responsible consumer and don't slam something you haven't tried because it doesn't sound easy enough to you.
