Magic Jack Is A Ripoff Magic Jack ripped me off & You will be next! PLEASE learn from my stupidity. West Palm Beach Florida

I saw the great ad on TV for this Magic Jack gizmo and because they displayed the names of a few companies I trust and do business with I was pretty sure it must be OK.

I tried their 30 day Free Trail. The device came in the mail, I hooked it up and not only did it not work, but it froze up my PC every time I plugged it in.

I go online to try and get Magic Jack Custom Support and find no 1-800# and no real phone number either. I tried Magic Jack's online Tech Chat, but that would not launch and work for my system. So I tried to request a RMA# to return the device, (since Magic Jack had no interest in helping me to get it to work). At long last Magic Jack gave me a response email with an RMA#.

Next day I mail the device and everything it came with back to Magic Jack with the RMA# clearly posted in 3 locations. I checked later and the Post Office delivery confirmation showed that Magic Jack did get the item back.

Silly me, I thought that was it and it was all over. LOL!!! How stupid of me.

27 days later, I get billed to my credit card $46. for the device Magic Jack got back that didn't even work. Now, I try every way I can to contact Magic Jack and they won't respond to me at all. I used the email address I got the RMA# through and Magic Jack just won't answer me at all. I tried multiple phone numbers that are linked to them and they end up being dead or shut off phones.

This company Magic Jack CLEARLY goes out of their way to be hard to find or contact and has no intent of being there for their customers.

To Date; I have not gotten one cent back from Magic Jack and I continue to go all over the net warning people of this Magic Jack's ill intentions.

The $46. Magic Jack stole from me has purchased in me a life long dedication to spreading the word about Magic Jack to everyone I can reach. I only hope I can save a few people from what has happened to me. CScott---Feeling pretty conned
