Perfect Air Ultra - Thane International ripoff product does not work, company has differing ideas of 30 trial period La Quinta California

I purchased a Perfect Air Ultra on 9/30/04 from these people. It acts like it should be working but does not make any difference in the air quality.

I was told I had a full 30 day trial period fro mthe date received. I received it on Monday, 10/11/04. A full 30 days would be today, 11/10/04. When I called for a return authorization today, the first person i talked to said I was stuck with it because the 30 days ended yesterday.

After I hung up I called back and spoke to Bessie who said I should ahve called in mamy days ago because 30 days was from shipping date of 9/30/04. When I confronted her with the phrase "from date received" she said well yes but I still needed to cancel earlier because the product had to be in their office within the 30 days.

This is crazy!
