I made the mistake of ordering Russ Dalby's course, and then finding this website afterwards. I trusted the sincerity of what a read here and called Russ Dalby's cancellation number.
When I called, I was told it was too late to cancel (4 days I believe). I was also wondering why they had not taken the money out of my account.
They cannot use my card number because there was a security feature not allowing use of debit transactions. I didn't know I had this but sure am glad I did.
The idiots actually shipped the product without collecting the money first. Then when I called, they wanted to collect the full first payment even though if anything I just owed them the shipping.
The man on the line said I couldn't get the confirmation number to return the product without securing the first payment. I just didn't sign for it when UPS arrived and they had to return it.
This guy threatened that they could take me to court. I assured him that any judge would laugh him out of the courtroom, you just don't ship a product not paid for. By the way, the $20 shipping should only be about $3; very small box.
Anyway, he threatened to hit my credit score. I said go ahead and then I'll get a lawyer. I'm only twenty, paying off student loans, trying to build good credit for a future home loan. So when someone threatens my credit score, I bark back.
These guys use fear tactics and their bark is probably worse than their bite. If you find yourself in a similar situation, don't give them a dime; if no money changes hands, then legally there is no sale.
