Our daughter was deployed on January 5,2009 to Balad,Iraq. A copy of her orders along with her request to freeze her account until her return from active duty was faxed to them. This weekend (January 10) she received a refusal to honor her request!

It's not like she's trying to get out of her contract because she doesn't feel like going to the gym, but only a suspension of charges to her account for the time she will be defending these wonderful folks' freedom. Truly an American business supporting America!

It is not ABC's decision to grant or deny freeze/cancellation requests. The freeze/cancel procedures of each club are set by that club. The easiest thing to do would be to obtain a copy of your daughter's contract to see if the cancellation/freeze procedures are listed. If they are not, your daughter can sign into her account with ABC online and view the cancel/freeze procedures for her particular club.
