My husband and I have been searching the internet that last 2 or 3 weeks in search of our perfect used Jeep Wrangler. We can across what appeared to be a fabulous deal on a 2004 Wrangler this person was trying to sell before his May 10th deployment date to Afghanistan. He said he wanted to use e-Bay PPP because it would be protection for both of us and he could ship it with his military connections. We were ignorant enough to believe him. We would not have allowed him to ship it thought.

We were in the middle of selling our Dodge Truck, so we had to put the Wrangler purchase on hold for a couple of weeks. When we contacted the good Lieutentant again, he responded very quickly for someone deployed overseas. His reply included a different Jeep, with different features for a different price. And all of a sudden a different deployment date.

When asked to clarify why did he send us pictures, all he did was repeat himself and try to avoid he question. He did his not just once, but THREE times!!! When I used Car Fax to check out both the vehicles, I found one had been used as a commercial vehicle for over 3 years.

Then in response to two other online inquiries sent for information on Craig's , I received 2 additional emails almost identical to the Lt's. Fortunately I started putting 2 and 2 together before we made a a terrible costly mistake.

Please, anyone using Craig's List to look for a car, do so with caution. If you see e-bay Purchase Protection Problem on anyone's add, run the other way as fast as you can, then report it. That is the only way to stop this Rip-Off artists.
