Atmos Energy Corp. Overcharging, Unfair charging, Coercion Dallas Texas

Does this seem right to you?

Take a look at your ATMOS Engery Corp bill. Do you see a "Monthly Customer Charge" there? Has it been $10.00 per month in the past and did it climb to $13.00 per month recently?

Do the math, like I did, on the percentage of your total charges. Maybe you are like me and do not use that much Natural Gas from Atmos. My gas charges for 22.0 CCF were $22.93. Okay that's fine. Now look at the inequity below:

Monthly Customer Charge: $13.00 = 56.7% of the gas charges.
Distribution Service: $2.91 = 12.7% of the gas charges.
Tax: $1.94 = 8.5% of the gas charges

All Total, the peripheral charges are 77.8% of the costs of the product I am suppose to be purchasing from ATMOS - natural gas!!

This is unfair and certainly an example of a big corporation taking advantage of its market monopoly!
