Gexa Energy hidden account deactivation fee ripoff Houston Texas

When I signed up the Gexa Energy service, I was told that there is no switching fee, no cancellation fee, and I can
switch to other company anytime I want. My contract states in large letters $0 cancellation fee.
As I moved, I called to close my account. In my last billing statement, Gexa Energy charged an account deactivation fee of $15.00 for canceling my service. The sales representative never mentioned anything about it when I signed up with Gexa, I would never sign up if I know anything about this scam. I found out that after signing the contact, Gexa did send me a welcome package with detail of service agreement, and it does state in the fine print else where that there is a $15.00 fee for termination of service. I think I am not the only that got tricked by Gexa misleading marketing tactic. And, I won¡¦t be the last one. If you ever want to sign up with them, have to think about it twice.
