Wow, where to start??

I never expected to make huge money nor was i told i would BUT thier machines are garbage! the metal of the locks are too soft, you cannot change the candy without opening the back door- completely defeats the purpose of two different locks.

I bought a 30 piece package thinking it was a good deal. and even after reading everyone elses reports i still think i got a good deal compared to you guys. so i lost less but i still lost. i spent 136 a machine after shipping. lifetime warantee included.

My sales rep stopped answering my calls and it goes to his voicemail everytime for hte last 3 days. i was transfered to Larry Kaplin, and just left a voicemail on his machine. I am incredibly disapointed in the quality of the machines i recieved. thier suggested locators... i got the contract and looked it over myself before giving it to my lawyer, and its WAY TOO scketchy. and things arent feeling right. I already incorporated, the business bought supplies, did paperwork, permits, the works....

First off, I say we create a class action lawsuit- with the complaints here on this site alone there is enough evidence to shut them down and to make our money back plus whatever extra for our time, time value of the money we invested etc...

If the classaction does not happen, I WILL expose them to mass media and they will never turn a profit. Thank god i have connections or I wouldn't have a chance to make it that far.

If Vendstar is reading this, and i hope you are, if you want your companies SCAMMING ways to go without seemignly hundreds of lawsuits: you need to pay me for the product, my time, all the money i invested because of your lies (which totals only about 4k at this point in time without counting compensation for the hours i put into it). and dont think thats enough- I will be monitoring the company YOU HAD BETTER CORRECT THIS PROBLEM SIGNIFICANTLY or there will be very heavy prices to pay by both the company and the persons involved at high levels and yes , to those who don't know the law, that can happen its called CRIMINALLY NEGLIGENT both the company and the private persons who knowingly run it in the fashion its being run CAN AND WILL BE SUED if its not fixed.

To anyone who has not yet been scammed by them... stay away from this company. the vending business itself is fine. it requires a lot of hard work and/or brains to get other people to work for you while still makign some profit. but VENDSTAR IS A SCAM and I dont knwo how the people running it sleep at night- I know I wouldnt be able to.

Larry Kaplin called me and promised that he personally would send out anythign that i tell him is not up to par. so although i still am not happy with the machines overall I am leaving things as potentially neutral. i will be testing the machines with coins of different dinominations and cardboard coins to see if it still vends ( i was told they would) and i will keep this report updated as things unfold.
- its apparently illegal for htem to even sell machines to people in my state so that alone will give me my money back up to a year of hte date of purchase. i can contact the attourney general and i assume he would be happy to help.
- i also called the credit card company and was informed that should it come down to it i may decline the charge and since the things above are all true i would most likely (they cant garentee anything) not have to pay.

BUT i think although i will NOT BE HAPPY with anything that they do to try and rectify the situation, things can be done so that i am not unhappy per se.

Release of contract being sent to me for refund and pickup of machines

so far so good. dealings with larry kaplin have been pleasant. he returns my phone calls fairly quickly and things have been worked out. hes fedex'ing a release of contract form. we will then work out a pickup date for the machines and a refund will be issued.
i only wish that the quality of the product was better after all the hype and costs.

I have decided to stay with the company for many reasons. one of the main ones was that Larry was very helpful and forward to rectify my miss-likings. There was no contract or voiding of the contract that has persuaded me to write this. I cant say too much for the company as a whole, i guess everyone has bad apples, but everything I need is being taken care of.

I agree that instead of vending complaints and blowing one's gasket once, everyone should get together and make a concerted effort to close the doors on this vendstar "machine" that is vending new scams every day.
