Warning!
VIP Petcare Services is dangerous to your pets! They over-vaccinate, vaccinate inappropriately, vaccinate when the cat/dog isn't old enough, give vaccinations that aren't requested by the owner, give vaccinations that should not be given and aren't needed - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU WANT YOUR PET TO LIVE AND BE HEALTHY.

My personal experience is a terrible one - with disastrous consequences. They don't care about the animal, they purely care about MONEY. They try to give as many vaccinations to your pet as they can - to make more money. This company is entirely greed-driven. And the vaccinations they are giving can be extremely harmful and toxic to cats/dogs - especially in the manner they are giving them.

Warning! If you want a healthy, happy animal and love your pet - do NOT bring them to VIP. They should have been put out of business a long, long time ago.

VIP Petcare Services rebuttal

AUTHOR: Devan P. - Windsor (U.S.A.)

My name is Devan and I am an employee of VIP Petcare Services. Every complaint and claim listed in the above report is completely false. VIP Petcare Services has a long record of vaccinating pets according to vaccine guidelines and age recommendations. We have licensed California Veterinarians administering the vaccines and services to help ensure that no pets are given too many vaccinations or unnecessary vaccinations. Our vaccines come from the top manufacturers in the country (Merial, Pfizer, etc.) and are stored according to state-regulated guidelines. We are closely scrutinized by the Veterinary community. If we ever encounter a vaccine reaction from a client, our on-call Veterinarian advises them on how to handle the reaction and all vaccine reactions are reported to the vaccine manufacturer for quality control. It should be noted that we have the explicit support of almost every animal shelter and animal rescue agency in Northern California because we provide an essential low-cost petcare service to the residents of this state.

If this person's claim is true, then I ask them to call me at our main office 1-800-427-7973 or email me at Devan@happypet.com and tell me their story personally. If one of our vaccines or one of our staff members has caused a problem, then we need to address that. We can only help solve a problem if we know who you are!

If anyone would like to discuss our company or our clinic procedures, feel free to call me at 800-427-7973.

VIP Vaccinations is great.

AUTHOR: Hateripoffs - Alameda (U.S.A.)

I've been using VIP for years. Their vets are responsible and careful as are their aid/techs and front desk people. They ask for the pet's age, condition and vaccination history along with the checklist to select your vaccines and anti-flea/anti-parasite meds from. They take blood tests for heart worm. I've never had a front desk person try to up-sell me on vaccines or meds. It's a responsible and responsive business. You can ask questions about your dog when the veterinarian is examining the dog, before he or she administers the vaccines. The vets at VIP work for years, usually following the same route of stores. So you can get to know your vet. But it isn't a full service vet. You should still determine ahead of time what local vet is honest and reasonable so that you will have them available for emergencies. This vet gets a well doggie visit to start the relationship.

This complaint doesn't actually say anything at all - what happened

AUTHOR: Devilsadvocate4education*just My Opinions* - Las Vegas (U.S.A.)

*They over-vaccinate - how so, meaning what? *vaccinate inappropriately- how so, meaning what? *vaccinate when the cat/dog isn't old enough - what and when? *give vaccinations that aren't requested by the owner - what does this mean, alot of shots are in combinations. If you only want particular ones, you request it and make sure they single individual doses *give vaccinations that should not be given and aren't needed - like what? *They try to give as many vaccinations to your pet as they can - to make more money. This company is entirely greed-driven. - how did you come to this conclusion? *And the vaccinations they are giving can be extremely harmful and toxic to cats/dogs - especially in the manner they are giving them. - what does that mean? what vaccines, how do you believe they are harmful, and in what manner are they giving them? *My personal experience is a terrible one - with disastrous consequences. - what happened? Please let us know what happened in detail, and why you think it was wrong, and how you came to those conclusions. Did you do any research on vaccines BEFORE whatever happened, happened to you?

VIP has always been great

AUTHOR: anonymous - (USA)

I have been using VIP's mobile clinic for years now, and they've been nothing but great. As to vaccinating too young/over vaccinating, I've brought in 8 week old puppies, which is the usual age for first vaccinations, and been reccommended by the VIP vets to wait another week since the puppies were so small (chihuahua/mini dachshunds), they might have a reaction. They do care about the animals! Someone who had one of the siblings of the puppies got her shot combo at 8 weeks elsewhere and had a reaction (swelling, sluggishness) but at the advice of VIP I waited another week with mine and they had the same combo and were fine! They were clean, sterile, and have been very nice to all my dogs. They've never tried to sell anything, give us coupons for our next visits, and never give anything we didn't ask for.
