Egami Productions, owned by Doug Karazsewski, operates as a video/DVD production and wedding photography company in and around Hayward, Wisconsin. My company contracted with Egami to produce a series of DVDs for a client. For this, the entire $1,500 project retainer was given to Egami Productions for what Karazsewski claimed were "equipment upgrades" needed to complete the project.
Doug Karazsewski completed about $50 of work and demanded my company also pay in excess of $1,000 additionally (on top of the retainer). For that, Doug Zarazsewski and Egami Productions was terminated as a contractor. Egami Productions essentially took the money and ran, and my company was forced to absorb the balance.
One one occasion, Doug Karazsewski appeared at my personal residence demanding payment in full on yet another project. He also demanded the home address of one of my clients. Red flags immediately raised in my mind, and it was a very scary encounter and on my own front porch!
I would not recommend Egami Productions and want to make people aware of the result of dealing with Doug Karazsewski. I pride my company on quality and honesty in business, and Egami Productions failed to live up to its promises and commitments.
