DVDBoxedSets.com ,Geoffery Holdermiller Soold Pirated DVDs ,Chinese TV copies, solicited return/replacement for defective DVDs, failed to replace Ruskin, Florida

In October 23, 2008, I ordered a DVD boxed set of "Without A Trace Seasons 1-6" from this company. The set was delivered on 1 November, 2007. he set was nicely packaged from CHINA (drop shipped) and contained Chinese TV copies of the shows. Season 3 DVDs were non-USA (zone 1) compliant, and many of the other DVDs in the set were unplayable, missing sections of the recordings, etc.

I contacted the phone number on my credit card statement, and it was disconnected, so I instituted a search for the company and found that it is operated out of a travel agency in Ruskin Florida, by Geoffery Holdermiller.

The credit card was paid to "Glimmer Save". ($129.95)

I sent Mr. Holdermiller a email detailing the problems with the set of DVDs, and he advised me to return the set for a replacement, by tracked US Mail, which I did.

The Post Office indicates delivery of the returned merchandise, but no signed receipt was ever returned.

NO further resoponse from Mr. Holdermiller has come forth. The replacement set of DVDs has not been received, nor has he answered emails.

The DOMAIN "DVDBoxedSets.com" is now vacant.

Because the party involved is selling illegal copies of DVDs, (pirated and represented as being US authorized pressings) this is a matter for the Federal Trade Commission to look into.

It is unknown how many people have been duped into this scam, and have lost money through either misrepresented product, or failure to deliver product at all.
