What can I say, I love movies, until I found out that netflix, wasn't living up to it's end of the bargain. I signed up for 4 movies out at a time, and when I was done watching them, I would send the four back. Then they would send me two, and so on, and so on.

If you pay for 4, and you only get two, well that's a ripoff. And it was annouced that yes, they throttle. Well if you don't wan't people to rent 8 movies at a time. Then don't offer the service, Jack***es!

Your complaint doesn't make any sense!

I think your just angry because you did not get your 4 dvd's at the same time. If your on a 4 at a time plan then 4 will be sent to you at some point. I use Netflix for about 3 years now and they have been great! I understand what your saying about the movies not coming at the same time but that is mostly due to the postal system. I can't tell you how much times I would mail back 3 or 4 and Netflix would only receive 2. But there is nothing that can be done about that.

I even asked the postman one time and he stated mail has been slow and they were short staffed. So you never received the other 2? Oh and Netflix has an option for you to click if a movie was not received, and they send you out a replacement right away. I hope you don't choose not to use them especially if it was a postal issue. Think about the money your saving I have, and I save about 25.00-30.00 a month. I rent a lot. Hope you got your issue cleared up.

It is a proven fact that they throttle.

It has been in various areas of the news in recent weeks. Netflix in fact does throttle the accounts - meaning that they intentionally do not send you movies when they actually could be sending you movies.

In basic terms - they are lying to people. They state that you can get unlimited DVD rentals every month. But when they throttle your account and regulate how many DVD's you get and which ones you get it is then nothing but a lie.

I cancelled my account with them and I refuse to go back with them because they are dishonest.

In order for it to be legitament you have to get the movies WITHIN the week, whether it be two, four, or more, if you don't get them, then thats a rippoff because your paying for a certian amount per week, I had three a week but I didn't recieve all three within the week, and yes they do have the option that if you don't get a movie, they will replace it, BUT you may only get that ONE movie the next week. I cancelled my membership because of this, it may or may not have to do with the postal service, but one never knows, at any rate it's a problem, I sent emails after emails to them about it, but never go a response

I CANCELLED MY NETFLIX ACCOUNT FOR THE SAME REASON

When it became public knowledge through various newspaper articles, where Netflix admitted that it withheld new releases from "heavy renters" and the "heavy renters" were sent to the back of the line, I cancelled my subscription (5 out at a time)and never went back. I can understand wanting to maximize profits..I can't understand false advertising and deception.

if you send 4 back and you are signed up for 4 at a time maybe they should send all four in one package that way they customer will receive them at the same time. I do not subscribe to this foolishness because of this because I would go postal if they did not live up to their contract part and I would be really upset if I could not see the movies I asked for.

as far as the postal service, they are union and could care less what the general public sez because they cannot be sued and I try not to use them either...I email or make payment at the store or online.

I am very cheap and keep my money to myself at all times and find ways to save money all the time.

Not 4 per week

They don't say 4 per week, they you can have 4 at a time. very different.

I have been using Netflix for 4 years and they have never skipped a beat. They do an awesome job and I love it.

Of course, because I like them and have never had a problem I will be accused of being an employee. :-)

i love netflix

i have had netflix for 2 years and never have a problem getting my rentals. i have the 3 at a time plan (that is at a time, not a week) and i hardly ever have a wait on any rentals. when i do have a wait, it's not like they don't send one b/c they do. if there is a wait, i get the next one in my que that is available. i watch my movie and send it back the next day. netflix will process it the following day after i send it back and then ship out my next rental that day, which i get a day later. it's very good and i have never had a problem. i have reccommended it to my friends and they all love it too.
