American EVoice / ILD Teleservices, Cramming Phone Bills - Fraudulent, Deceptive Internet

Like other reports, I have been "crammed" by American eVoice for a $16.00 monthly charge to my Verizon phone bill, billed through a company called ILD Teleservices. I did get a toll free number to call 866-576-1876 and someone actually answered. Intiially, they tried to tell me that my wife ordered the service, but the minute I suggested to them that this was a fraudulent act called "cramming", the gentleman immediately offered to stop the service and credit my bill. Much to my surprise, he stated that the credit would be for 6 months, as apparently, I've been charged since July for this service. I guess I'll need to pay more attention to my Verizon phone bill.

I'll update this report, once I know the status of the promised credit, but I would suggest anyone that has been scammed by American eVoice, call this number immediately: 866-576-1876 and politely demand a full and complete credit.

Shame on Verizon for passing through these charges without question!
