First American Home Buyers Protection claim denied Van Nuys California

I filed a claim because my shower pan was leaking through the wall and onto my wood floors. When the plumbing tech showed up, he said First American Home Buyers Protection does not cover shower pans or tubs. there is nothing on the website that says that, actually there is a shower and tub section when filing the claim. I had to pay the plumber my deductible of 60 dollars for him to say we don't cover that. I notice on the website could have done that for a lot less.

I have complained and have been told after many un responded e-mails that a rep will call me and I still have heard nothing from them. I atleast want my 60 dollars back but I would prefer to have my shower fixed since it is still under warranty.

beware of this especially before renewing your policy.
