Globat.com Scam and Billing Fraud Los Angeles California

Thanks to RipoffReport.com for giving this platform to the individuals who have been wronged by the fraudulent merchants. Better Business Bureau is a government agency but does a very poor and inadequate job in taking action against fraudulent businesses. I wish I would have checked RipoffReport.com before signing-up for webhosting service at Globat.com.

Caution: Consumers beware before processing any business transactions at Globat.com. This is a fraudulent merchant who has wasted my time and frustrated me. Also, before committing to any transaction at Globat.com, please Google “Globat.com Scam”. Your search will return many complaints at multiple sites.

On August 5th 2008 I signed up for web hosting service at Globat.com. Within a couple of days I knew that they have inadequate service. I wasted good amount of time talking to the technical support, who asked many irrelevant questions. Using their 30 day money back guarantee, I asked them for a refund, four days after I opened the account with them, on Aug 9, 2008. Their response was, that your account has been cancelled, and you have been scheduled a refund during the first half of November. I was surprised to hear that the refund will be made after over 3 months. I asked the as to why will it take 3 months for a refund. Also, I mentioned to them that if the refund is not made right away, I will be contacting my credit card company. I did not get any response back from them and they did not make any refund. I do not trust Globat.com and I do not want to wait for 3 months to get a refund. I have filed the dispute with my credit card company on Sep 13, 2008 and the dispute is being processed by the credit card company.
