We attend the workshop StoresOnline Sept 04 2006. The sales rep. were very good with their sales pitch. We went only to learn, ha! And watching the people sign up for consultation we guess about 200 people attended and it look like most needed financial help. During the presentation a sales person tapped my shoulder that meant he wanted me to go with him for a consultation which I did not sign up for, he was dishonest, said my husband sign me up.
Anyway we talk to him and after his convincing sales pitch we gave in and purchase six websites. He told me to go home and relax and wait the next day to read the president letter that was in the packet and just take it slow reading and viewing the vedio. Well soon as we came home I begin to read and I notice it said they will design the website for you with a fee 150.00 we were lead to believe the 6000.00 purchase they will design it if we feel uncomfortable doing it. I went to their website to begin explore it and found it was confusing and it was notfor me.
I decided to cancel the transaction since we had 3 days to do so. Next day I called customer service a man said he had to talk to my husband first because he was the primary card holder, funny both of our names are on the credit card. So we call them back when husband return home. A lady said she didn't know why he would say he needed to talk to my husband. So we sent in a fax of cancellation and sent a certified letter and I also emai them. They reply said cancellation was processed to call them for the status. And if I have any questions to let them know told me this two times I just wanted them email me the confirmation so I email them again ask for the status. All this reminds me of Green Acres a run around one not knowing what the other is doing. Are they on the up and up?
It is a good ideal to check out any company before doing business with them if I had done so I would not attended the workshop. There is a great deal of complaints concerning this company on the internet. I do not recommend storesonline I could say more about them but time does not permit it.
