In response to 'Bernie', your report regarding Activ Web Design is wholly innacurrate and liablous. Let me try to explain why your report contains no truth whatsoever:

Activ Web Design offers fixed price websites for £499 or £999 - this is one of the fundamental elements of our business' continued success (www.activwebdesign.com). The only way you could have possibly been quoted £3500 for a website design would have been through our 'Bespoke Projects Team' based at our Leicestershire Head Office - if this were the case then you could not have had any 'difficulty in getting in touch with them since' as we have an 0845 telephone number and over 20 office staff who answer every incoming call during normal office hours.

We have franchisees all over the UK (as well as in Australia, France, Spain and Ireland) who operate the Activ Web Design business to our high standards - we do not currently have a franchisee in Pembrokeshire, South Wales, so again, I am unsure who you or your wife could have dealt with purporting to be an Activ Web Designer?

We have hundreds of satisfied website customers who have either dealt with our Head Office team, or one of our 100+ Activ franchisees. Our company has recently been shortlisted for two national business awards (Nectar small business awards and HSBC small business awards) in recognition of the fact we have grown to be one of the largest national web design companies in the UK and for offering one of the most attractive franchise opportunities available.

If this is a genuine report then PLEASE send us further information regarding your complaint (order form, deposit receipt, names of the person you dealt with, copies of any communications, etc) and you have my assurance that we will investigate your complaint as a matter of urgency - info@theactivgroup.com

As this is the first time anyone in our organisation has even heard of this issue, I suspect that this is either a case of mistaken identity (i.e. another company operating with a similar name to Activ Web Design) or a malicious, fictitious report designed to cause disruption to our successful operation. In either case Activ Web Design has never conducted their business in this manner and can provide testimonials from scores of delighted customers & franchisees alike who would recommend Activ to anyone.

I am a franchisee of Activ Web Design.  I and many others have been duped by this company into buying a worthless product.  Many people have suffered great financial loss and incredible distress. The directors own several franchises which are all SCAMS.
