My username Starlit Moonlite was banned on Gaia Online for canceling trades from users who hadn't contacted me to do art when they said they would or a scammer who wasn't doing any art. I admit I didn't know that you could be banned from the site if you cancel a trade and misread the policy when I first joined. I took into account that I had to prevent myself from scams online and because the site is pretty scam heavy.  I am angry because I spent over 500 dollars on this site and made up for 3 accounts that had been hacked in the past from users on the site. They prevent users from having any control over their account and have unrealistic reasons to ban users. I think it is wrong of them to not allow trade canceling in some circumstances where people are ignoring you for months and are obviously not going to contact you and when it is an obvious scam on the site.  It is wrong and unrealistic because in the real world you can cancel orders  and cancel at any point in an order and even return to stores. I hate it because shop owners do not always comply with the user and  some expect you to pay money and never give you art back for what you pay. I think it is wrong they accused me of hacking and scamming a user when I didn't do such a thing. I believe the company lacks a good customer service and doesn't really care to help users properly. They have illogical reasons to ban people and Gaia's policy claims that they can and will ban people for any reason they wish. I am tired of being ripped off on the site and wish to god they would just give back my account. I am tired of dealing with the snobbism and service of rude and immature moderators who take out their day on users for things they may not have even meant to do or haven't done at all.  I don't think it is even fair that moderators have the right to judge if you can have an account or not because realistically they can treat you how they want or discriminate against a user because they assume things about them that aren't true. They're behind a computer and are spread out all over the world where they can act any way they wish to act.


I just am fed up with losing my money and items on this site and want them back. I have been through alot there in terms of losing my things and then getting banned with over 500 dollars spent for a petty reasons just to be treated like a thief by moderators. I just want my money back. I have stuff in there I can't get back and I don't know how to deal with the site at all. My reasons for canceling a trade is because of the shop owner and person I traded with in the first place. I wish they would stop telling me to use inquiry then send the same message through inquiry.  I have been honest with them but they don't care and they don't care how hurtful it actually is to lose my account and I have absolutely no money to make up for them.  I tried my best to get back my account but it went nowhere.
