Jess posted on craig list in July 2009 that he was looking to hire a female videographer.

I contacted Jess, and we agreed that I would use my camera and tapes only.

Jess agreed to pay me $40.00 per hour and additional $10.00 per tape.

Jess stated that he only wanted me to capture cutaway footage with the use of one camera. I was not to edited anything.

Jess told me that he was offering a package deal to his brides which included photo stills and some video footage highlights.

My first job was 7/6/2009 and he paid me. Jess told me that he had more jobs for me if I was interested.

My next jobs were on 7/8/2009, 7/25/2009, 7/31,2009. Jess told me that he would pay me at the end of that month. I saw no problem with that since I was holding the master mini DV tapes. When the end of the month came, Jess stated that he was in a jam; he needed to pay his son's college fees. Jess asked if he could pay me all my money the end of August. I agreed to that, I was thinking that since I was holding the master tapes he would have to pay me.

I work on 8/1/2009,8/14/2009, 8/21/2009, 8/22/2009 and on 8/29/2009. On 8/29/2009, jess told me that he had received a check and he was going to pay me all my money on that coming monday when the banks open.

I called Jess the first wednesday after labor and Jess told me that he was on a road trip and he promised that he would pay me once he returned. when I did not hear from him a week later; I sent Jess a certified letter # 70041160000197110752.

The letter was returned to me unclaimed.

I am holding all unedited tapes waiting for jess to pay me for my work.

I have also had a problem with Jess and left somethinf on this site. His name is Darrin Jesse Small, and that's what I put it under. There are so many people dealing with him and people he hired as well. I have been in contact with a few brides now that haven't gotten their pictures and videos.

Hello Deborah, my name is Gerald. Darrin Small also ripped me off from my wedding photos and video. From the report you wrote, it seems like you're the one of the people he contracted to shoot my wedding video on 8/29/2009. I have been able to get in contact with the other photographers and videographers, and we worked out a deal on the pictures and video. I think you may have the video from my wedding reception. Hello Deborah, this is Gerald Ikedilo again. I posted my number and email address for you to contact me but the people who manage this site deleted them. The reason they gave for deleting my number and email has nothing to do with my reason for posting them and does not make sense because I'm not a lawyer or a marketer, and I'm not trying to sell anything on this website. I'm only trying to retrieve my wedding video, and there's no way I can retrieve it if I don't give my contact information. Anyway I hope they understand.
