Extreme Acai Berry called 2 numbers to cancel before auto shipment, was not cancelled, was billed and shipped. Davie Florida

I ordered the trial product on 1/2/09, paid for the shipping ($3.95) received my order no problem. While taking the pills I noted that it tasted like a sweet tart and realized it did nothing for me. I then read how to cancel the product. On 1/12/09, before the 14 days were up, I called to cancel using the 1-877-350-8480 number. I finally got through to customer service, obviously in India, (terrible connection and I could barely understand what the young lady said) after a painful 15 minutes I finally got a cancellation confirmation #. she then told me to call another number to cancel, I called that number right away and another very painful 15 minutes I received another cancellation confirmation#all the while being assured that my account was canceled.

Much to my horror I received an email from my bank that I was under my limit. and overdrawn, of course I checked right away, and there it was, a charge for more pills to the tune of $92.58 and yes 2 days later I have received the pills as well. I now call the number listed on my bank account and was told that my account was active but to return the pills with a tracking number and my money will be refunded in 7 to 10 days. I can assure you I was very livid at this point and was insistent that my money be returned to my bank account immediately. The young lady in India found my anger very humorous, put me on hold several times, would not let me speak to a supervisor,apparently in a meeting, then ended up hanging up on me.

At this point, I called my bank and described the situation to the claims dept. They in turn called the company to see what could be done. They assured her I would have a return within 5-7 days. I now have to call the bank when I do see the return to my account and request fees be dropped for an overdraw.

I received the pills today, called the company to see where to send the pills back and it is indeed the same address I read about here on this website. This situation is unacceptable and very bad business. Yes, I can say I have been scammed and feel that I have had my money stolen. I want this company out of business, that is after I get my money back.
